A hand painted reproduction of Scotland's most famous, loyal dog.  This wee Skye Terrier never got over the death of his owner and spent the rest of his life watching over his grave in Grayfriars Kirkyard.

His fame spread throughout Edinburgh, and he was cared for by locals until he passed away in 1872.  You can read more information by clicking on this link:-

Tourists and locals rub his nose for luck - resulting in the paint being worn away, leaving Bobby with a gold nose.  It's the most famous act of vandalism that no-one has ever been arrested for. 

The tile is supplied inside a presentation box, with a black felt covered backing and a hanging hook both of which can easily be removed if the tile is to be fixed to a wall.
